The CY-RCP
Cyanview's RCP is a multi-camera control panel designed to provide shading and control over a wide range of camera brands and models used in broadcast. It significantly enhances quality and efficiency for both setup and operations. The RCP offers direct access to main camera settings, tally support, integrated shading of external color correctors, control of external lenses, pan and tilt control, and a touchscreen interface. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and features a user-friendly configuration interface, easy setup, regular updates, diagnostics, and remote support.
Cameras and Protocols
Cyanview's RCP is brand agnostic and supports most camera brands, including AIDA, AJA, Blackmagicdesign, IOI, Marshall, Canon, Sony, RED, Panasonic, Ikegami, Dreamship, and many more.
It can control multiple cameras simultaneously without any hard limits. The RCP supports various camera protocols, including LANC, RS232, RS485, VISCA, SBUS, and more.
Workflows
- One RCP per camera: In this configuration, each camera is controlled by a dedicated RCP. This setup is typical in OB trucks, studios, or larger productions where each camera requires individual control. It allows operators to focus on a single camera and provides a traditional broadcast workflow.
- One RCP for all cameras: A single RCP can control any number of cameras, with no hard limits. This ultra-compact and powerful workflow integrates all cameras and devices, making it ideal for small productions or flypack kits. The RCP can switch seamlessly between different camera brands and models.
- Everything in between: Any combination of the above setups is possible. For example, in a production with multiple cameras, some cameras can be controlled individually by dedicated RCPs, while others are grouped and controlled by a single RCP. This flexibility allows you to tailor the control setup to your specific production needs.
